M't 14:1 HERODS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, THE | ¶ At that time Herod1 the tetrarch2 heard of the fame of Jesus, |
M't 14:2 RELIGION, TRUE-FALSE | And said unto his servants, This3 is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him4. |
M't 14:3 | Wherefore John Baptist was beheaded. |
M't 14:3 HERODIAS HERODS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, THE JOHN THE BAPTIST PHILIP | For Herod5 had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias'6 sake, his7 brother Philip's8 wife. |

M't 14:28 PETER | And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid49 me come unto thee on the water. |
M't 14:29 BLINDNESS-VISION | And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked50 on the water, to go to Jesus. |
M't 14:30 BLINDNESS-VISION PETER REST-UNREST | ¶ But when51 he saw the wind boisterous52, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. |
