Joh 7:1 SUFFERING FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE Judea Galilee | ¶ After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because2 the3 Jews sought to kill him. |
Joh 7:2 FEASTS, JEWISH | 4Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand. |
Joh 7:3 BRETHREN Judea | His brethren5 therefore said unto him, Depart6 hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest. |
Joh 7:4 | For there7 is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew8 thyself to the world. |
Joh 7:5 BRETHREN JAMES MOSES | 9For neither did his brethren believe in him. |
Joh 7:6 | Then Jesus said unto them, My time10 is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. |
Joh 7:7 COMMENDATION-REPROOF LOVE-HATRED WORKS, EVIL, CONDEMNED | The world11 cannot hate you; but12 me it hateth, because13 I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. |
Joh 7:8 | Go ye up unto this feast: I go not14 up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. |
Joh 7:9 Galilee | When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. |

Joh 7:13 COURAGE-FEAR DISCIPLESHIP PUBLIC OPINION | Howbeit no man spake22 openly of him for fear of the Jews. |
Joh 7:14 | teaches in the temple. |
Joh 7:14 TEACHER, DIVINE WORSHIP, TRUE AND FALSE | ¶ Now about the midst23 of the feast Jesus went up into the temple24, and taught. |
Joh 7:15 | And the Jews marvelled25, saying, How26 knoweth this man letters27, having never learned? |
Joh 7:16 KNOWLEDGE-IGNORANCE TEACHER, DIVINE | Jesus answered them, and said, My28 doctrine is not mine, but29 his that sent me. |
Joh 7:17 KNOWLEDGE-IGNORANCE OBEDIENCE-DISOBEDIENCE PROMISES, DIVINE SURRENDERED LIFE, THE | 30If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. |
Joh 7:18 | He that speaketh31 of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory32 that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. |
Joh 7:19 LAWGIVER | Did not33 Moses give you the law, and yet34 none of you keepeth the law? Why35 go ye about to kill me? |
Joh 7:20 INDIGNITIES SUFFERED | ¶ The people answered and said, Thou36 hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee? |
Joh 7:21 | Jesus answered and said unto them, I have37 done one work, and ye all marvel. |
Joh 7:22 | Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision38; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. |
Joh 7:23 RELIGION, TRUE-FALSE SABBATH WHOLENESS OR HEALTH RESTORED | If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken39; are ye angry at me, because I have made40 a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? |
Joh 7:24 APPEARANCES DECEITFUL | 41Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. |
Joh 7:25 Jerusalem | Then said some of them of Jerusalem42, Is not43 this he, whom they seek to kill? |
Joh 7:26 | But, lo, he speaketh44 boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do45 the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? |
Joh 7:27 | Howbeit we know46 this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man47 knoweth whence he is. |
Joh 7:28 CHRIST JESUS | Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both48 know me, and ye know whence I am: and I49 am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true50, whom51 ye know not. |
Joh 7:29 CHRIST JESUS KNOWLEDGE-IGNORANCE | But I52 know him: for53 I am from him, and he hath sent me. |
Joh 7:30 HOUR, CHRIST'S | ¶ Then they54 sought to take him: but55 no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come. |
Joh 7:31 FAITH-UNBELIEF MIRACLES TESTIFY | And many of the people believed56 on him, and said, When57 Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done? |
Joh 7:32 | The Pharisees heard58 that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent59 officers to take him. |

Joh 7:34 | 61Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come. |
Joh 7:35 DISPERSION | Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed62 among the Gentiles63, and teach the Gentiles? |
Joh 7:36 | What manner64 of saying is this that he said, Ye shall65 seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come? |

Joh 7:45 | The Pharisees are angry that their officers took him not, and chide with Nicodemus for taking his part. |

Joh 7:51 NICODEMUS | Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth? |
Joh 7:52 BIGOTRY-CATHOLICITY Galilee | They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet. |
