Lu 1:5 ELISABETH HERODS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, THE JUDAEA OR JUDAH ZACHARIAS Judea | ¶ There was in the days of Herod9, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course10 of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. |
Lu 1:6 ORDINANCES RIGHTEOUSNESS-UNRIGHTEOUSNESS | And they were both righteous12 before God, walking13 in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless14. |
Lu 1:7 HOME | And they had15 no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well16 stricken in years. |
Lu 1:8 | And it came to pass, that while he17 executed the priest's office before God in18 the order of his course, |
Lu 1:9 | According to the custom of the priest's office, his19 lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. |

Lu 1:59 | 111And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father. |
