Joh 2:1 CANA MARY SOCIAL LIFE Galilee Cana | ¶ And the third day there was a marriage2 in Cana3 of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: |
Joh 2:2 SOCIAL LIFE | And both5 Jesus was called, and his6 disciples, to the marriage7. |
Joh 2:3 MARY TEMPERANCE-INTEMPERANCE | And when they wanted8 wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have9 no wine. |
Joh 2:4 | Jesus saith unto her, Woman10, what11 have I to do with thee? mine12 hour is not yet come. |
Joh 2:5 MARY | His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever13 he saith unto you, do it. |
Joh 2:6 | And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after14 the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. |
Joh 2:7 OBEDIENCE-DISOBEDIENCE WATER WEAKNESS-POWER | Jesus saith unto them, Fill15 the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. |
Joh 2:8 SOCIAL LIFE | And he saith unto them, Draw16 out now, and bear unto the governor17 of the feast. And they bare it. |
Joh 2:9 MIRACLES | When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was18 made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the19 servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, |
Joh 2:10 | ¶ And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when20 men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but21 thou hast kept the good wine until now. |

Joh 2:15 AWAKENINGS AND RELIGIOUS REFORMS MONEY-CHANGERS | And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove30 them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; |
Joh 2:16 BUSINESS LIFE REVERENCE-IRREVERENCE WORSHIP, TRUE AND FALSE | And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make31 not my32 Father's house an house of merchandise. |
Joh 2:17 EARNESTNESS-INDIFFERENCE | And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal33 of thine house hath eaten me up. |
Joh 2:18 | He foretells his death and resurrection. |
Joh 2:18 CURIOSITY | Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What34 sign shewest thou unto us, seeing35 that thou doest these things? |
Joh 2:19 MORTALITY-IMMORTALITY | Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy36 this temple, and in37 three days I will38 raise it up. |
Joh 2:20 DISCERNMENT-DULLNESS TEMPLES | ¶ Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? |
Joh 2:21 | But he39 spake of the temple40 of his body. |
Joh 2:22 FAITH-UNBELIEF WORDS OF CHRIST | When therefore he was risen from the dead, his41 disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they42 believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. |
Joh 2:23 | Many believe because of his miracles, but he will not trust himself with them. |
Joh 2:23 Jerusalem | ¶ Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many43 believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. |
Joh 2:24 WISDOM-FOLLY | But Jesus did44 not commit himself unto them, because45 he knew all men, |
Joh 2:25 KNOWLEDGE-IGNORANCE | And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. |
