Ps 147:1	The prophet exhorts to praise God for his care of the church;
Ps 147:1 •EXPRESSION OF GOOD-REPRESSION OF EVIL	¶ Praise ye the LORD: for it is good¹ to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise² is comely.
Ps 147:2 Jerusalem	The LORD doth build³ up Jerusalem: he⁴ gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
Ps 147:3 •HEALTH-DISEASE	He healeth⁵ the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds⁶.
Ps 147:4	his power and wisdom;
Ps 147:4 •STARS	He⁷ telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
Ps 147:5 •WISDOM-FOLLY	Great⁸ is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite⁹.
Ps 147:6	his mercy;
Ps 147:6 •MEEKNESS-RETALIATION •REVERSALS OF MEN'S POSITION BY THE LORD	The LORD lifteth up¹⁰ the meek: he casteth¹¹ the wicked down to the ground.
Ps 147:7	his providence;
Ps 147:7	¹²Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
Ps 147:8	Who covereth¹³ the heaven with clouds, who prepareth¹⁴ rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
Ps 147:9 •BIRDS	¹⁵He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
Ps 147:10	¶ He delighteth¹⁶ not in the strength of the horse: he taketh¹⁷ not pleasure in the legs of a man.
Ps 147:11 •REVERENCE-IRREVERENCE	The LORD taketh¹⁸ pleasure in them that fear¹⁹ him, in those that hope in his mercy.
Ps 147:12	to praise him for his blessings upon the kingdom;
Ps 147:12 Jerusalem Zion	¶ Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God²⁰, O Zion.
Ps 147:13	For he hath²¹ strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed²² thy children within thee.
Ps 147:14	He maketh peace²³ in thy borders, and filleth²⁴ thee with the finest of the wheat²⁵.
Ps 147:15	for his power over the elements;
Ps 147:15 •BIBLE, THE; THE WORD OF GOD	He sendeth²⁶ forth his commandment upon earth: his word²⁷ runneth very swiftly.
Ps 147:16 •METEOROLOGY •SNOW	He giveth²⁸ snow like wool: he scattereth²⁹ the hoarfrost like ashes.
Ps 147:17 •ICE •METEOROLOGY	He casteth³⁰ forth his ice like morsels: who can stand³¹ before his cold?
Ps 147:18	³²He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
Ps 147:19	and for his ordinances in the church.
Ps 147:19	He sheweth³³ his word³⁴ unto Jacob, his statutes³⁵ and his judgments unto Israel.
Ps 147:20	¶ He hath not dealt so³⁶ with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
