¶ A Psalm of David. Bless¹ the LORD, O my soul: and all that² is within me, bless his holy name³.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not⁴ all his benefits:

Who forgiveth⁵ all thine iniquities; who healeth⁶ all thy diseases;

Who redeemeth⁷ thy life from destruction; who crowneth⁸ thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Who satisfieth⁹ thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth¹⁰ is renewed like the eagle's.

¶ The LORD executeth¹¹ righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

He made¹² known his ways unto Moses, his acts¹³ unto the children of Israel.

The LORD is merciful¹⁴ and gracious, slow¹⁵ to anger, and plenteous in mercy¹⁶.

He will not always chide: neither¹⁷ will he keep his anger for ever.

¶ He hath not dealt¹⁸ with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

For as the¹⁹ heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy²⁰ toward them that fear him.

As far as the east²¹ is from the west, so far²² hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Like²³ as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them²⁴ that fear him.

For he knoweth²⁵ our frame; he remembereth that we are dust²⁶.

As for man, his days²⁷ are as grass: as a flower²⁸ of the field, so he flourisheth.

For the wind²⁹ passeth over it, and it is gone;³⁰ and the³¹ place thereof shall know it no more.

But the mercy³² of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness³³ unto children's³⁴ children;

To such³⁵ as keep his covenant, and to those that remember³⁶ his commandments to do them.

¶ The LORD hath prepared³⁷ his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom³⁸ ruleth over all.

¶ Bless³⁹ the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength⁴⁰, that do his⁴¹ commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts⁴²; ye ministers⁴³ of his, that do his pleasure.

Bless the LORD, all his works⁴⁴ in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD⁴⁵, O my soul.
