M'r 9:1 KINGDOM, SPIRITUAL | ¶ And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That1 there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste2 of death, till they have seen the kingdom3 of God come with power. |
M'r 9:2 CHRIST JESUS CHRIST JESUS JAMES MOUNTAINS AND HILLS PETER | And after4 six days Jesus taketh with him Peter5, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high6 mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured7 before them. |
M'r 9:3 ARTS AND CRAFTS CHRIST JESUS | And his raiment8 became shining, exceeding9 white as snow; so as no10 fuller on earth can white them. |
M'r 9:4 LIFE CONTINUOUS | And there appeared11 unto them Elias12 with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus. |
M'r 9:5 | And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is14 good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. |
M'r 9:6 | 15For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid. |
M'r 9:7 | And there was a cloud16 that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This17 is my beloved Son: hear18 him. |
M'r 9:8 | 19And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. |
M'r 9:9 MORTALITY-IMMORTALITY | And as they came down from the mountain, he charged20 them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till21 the Son of man were risen from the dead. |
M'r 9:10 | ¶ And they22 kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what23 the rising from the dead should mean. |
M'r 9:11 | He instructs his disciples concerning the coming of Elias; |
M'r 9:11 RECEPTION-REJECTION OF GOD AND TRUTH | 24And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come? |
M'r 9:12 | And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth25 all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must26 suffer many things, and be set27 at nought. |
M'r 9:13 | But I say unto you, That Elias28 is indeed come, and they29 have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him. |
M'r 9:14 | casts forth a deaf and dumb spirit; |
M'r 9:14 | ¶ And when30 he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes31 questioning with them. |
M'r 9:15 | And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were32 greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him. |
M'r 9:16 | And he asked the scribes, What33 question ye with them34? |
M'r 9:17 SATAN-EVIL SPIRITS WEAKNESS-POWER | And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I35 have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb36 spirit; |
M'r 9:18 WEAKNESS-POWER WEAKNESS-POWER | And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him37: and he foameth38, and gnasheth39 with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they40 could not. |
M'r 9:19 | He answereth him, and saith, O faithless41 generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. |
M'r 9:20 | ¶ And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit42 tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. |
M'r 9:21 CHRONIC AILMENTS | And he asked his father, How43 long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. |
M'r 9:22 | And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if44 thou canst do any thing, have45 compassion on us, and help us. |
M'r 9:23 ALL THINGS FAITH-UNBELIEF PROMISES, DIVINE | Jesus said unto him, If thou46 canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. |
M'r 9:24 HOME TEARS | And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with47 tears, Lord, I believe; help48 thou mine unbelief. |
M'r 9:25 DEAFNESS-HEARING HEALTH-DISEASE | When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked49 the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou50 dumb and deaf spirit, I charge51 thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. |
M'r 9:26 MIRACLES | And the spirit cried52, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. |
M'r 9:27 ASSOCIATION-SEPARATION | 53But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. |

M'r 9:35 | And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If67 any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. |

M'r 9:42 | And whosoever shall offend78 one of these little ones that believe in me, it79 is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. |
M'r 9:43 FUTURE STATE OF THE WICKED FUTURE STATE OF THE WICKED HELPS-HINDRANCES | And if80 thy hand offend thee81, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed82, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: |
M'r 9:44 FUTURE STATE OF THE WICKED | Where their83 worm dieth not, and the fire84 is not quenched. |
M'r 9:45 FUTURE STATE OF THE WICKED | 85And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: |
M'r 9:46 | 86Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. |
M'r 9:47 FUTURE STATE OF THE WICKED | And if thine87 eye offend thee88, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: |
M'r 9:48 FUTURE STATE OF THE WICKED PROFIT AND LOSS | 89Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. |
M'r 9:49 | For every one shall be salted with fire, and every90 sacrifice shall be salted with salt. |
M'r 9:50 ASSOCIATION-SEPARATION INFLUENCE, GOOD WAR-PEACE | ¶ Salt is good91: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt92 in yourselves, and have peace93 one with another. |
