Jas 4:6 GRACE, DIVINE HUMILITY-PRIDE PROMISES, DIVINE | But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. |
Jas 4:7 PROMISES, DIVINE SATAN-EVIL SPIRITS SELF-WILL-SUBMISSION | Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. |
Jas 4:8 DEFILEMENT-CLEANSING FELLOWSHIP-ESTRANGEMENT STEADFASTNESS-INSTABILITY STEADFASTNESS-INSTABILITY | Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. |
Jas 4:9 JOY-SORROW JOY-SORROW | Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. |
Jas 4:10 HUMILITY-PRIDE | ¶ Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. |

Jas 4:11 DOERS SILENCE-SPEECH | ¶ Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. |
Jas 4:12 CHARITABLENESS-UNCHARITABLENESS LAWGIVER | There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? |
Jas 4:13 | and not to be confident in the good success of worldly business, but mindful ever of the uncertainty of this life, to commit ourselves and all our affairs to God's providence. |
