¶¹Let brotherly love continue.

Be not² forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some³ have entertained angels unawares.

Remember them that⁴ are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer⁵ adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

Marriage⁶ is honourable in all, and the bed⁷ undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God⁸ will judge.

Let your conversation⁹ be without covetousness; and be¹⁰ content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will¹¹ never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

So that we may boldly¹² say, The Lord¹³ is my helper, and I will¹⁴ not fear what man shall do unto me.

Remember them which¹⁵ have the rule¹⁶ over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose¹⁷ faith follow, considering¹⁸ the end¹⁹ of their conversation.

²⁰Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Be not carried²¹ about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is²² a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with²³ meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

¶ We have an altar²⁴, whereof they have no right to eat which serve²⁵ the tabernacle.

For the bodies²⁶ of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify²⁷ the people with his own blood, suffered²⁸ without the gate.

²⁹Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

³⁰For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

By him³¹ therefore let us offer the sacrifice³² of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit³³ of our lips giving thanks to³⁴ his name.

But to do³⁵ good and to communicate³⁶ forget not: for with such³⁷ sacrifices God is well pleased.

Obey³⁸ them that have the rule over³⁹ you, and submit yourselves: for they watch⁴⁰ for your souls, as they that must give account⁴¹, that they may do it with joy⁴², and not with grief⁴³: for that is unprofitable for you.

¶ Pray⁴⁴ for us: for we trust we have⁴⁵ a good conscience, in all⁴⁶ things willing to live honestly.

But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I⁴⁷ may be restored to you the sooner.

¶ Now the God⁴⁸ of peace, that brought⁴⁹ again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great⁵⁰ shepherd of the sheep, through the blood⁵¹ of the everlasting⁵² covenant⁵³,

Make⁵⁴ you perfect in every⁵⁵ good work to do⁵⁶ his will, working⁵⁷ in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through⁵⁹ Jesus Christ; to whom⁶⁰ be glory for ever and ever. Amen⁶¹.

And I beseech you, brethren, suffer⁶² the word of exhortation: for⁶³ I have written a letter unto you in few words.

Know ye that our brother⁶⁴ Timothy is set⁶⁵ at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will⁶⁶ see you.

Salute⁶⁷ all them that have the rule⁶⁸ over you, and all⁶⁹ the saints. They⁷⁰ of Italy⁷¹ salute you.
