Then came he to Derbe1 and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named2 Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which3 was a Jewess, and believed; but4 his father was a Greek:

And the keeper63 of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew64 out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.

And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they84 feared, when they heard that they were Romans.

And they came85 and besought them, and brought86 them out, and desired87 them to depart out of the city.
