Ps 18:2 BATTLE OF LIFE | The LORD5 is my rock, and my fortress6, and my deliverer; my God, my strength7, in whom I will trust; my buckler8, and the horn9 of my salvation, and my high10 tower. |
Ps 18:3 | I will11 call upon the LORD, who12 is worthy to be praised: so shall13 I be saved from mine enemies. |
Ps 18:4 | The sorrows14 of death compassed me, and the floods15 of ungodly men16 made me afraid. |
Ps 18:5 HELL | The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares18 of death prevented me. |

Ps 18:14 ARROWS, GOD'S METEOROLOGY | Yea,37 he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot38 out lightnings, and discomfited them. |
Ps 18:15 | Then the channels39 of waters were seen, and the foundations40 of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD41, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. |

Ps 18:17 DELIVERER, DIVINE | He delivered me from my strong45 enemy, and from them46 which hated me: for they were47 too strong for me. |

Ps 18:26 | With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward64 thou wilt shew thyself froward65. |
Ps 18:27 EXALTATION-ABASEMENT | For thou wilt save66 the afflicted people; but wilt bring67 down high looks. |
Ps 18:28 CANDLE LIGHT-DARKNESS | For thou wilt68 light my candle69: the LORD my God70 will enlighten my darkness. |
Ps 18:29 | ¶ For by thee71 I have run72 through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. |
Ps 18:30 BIBLE, THE; THE WORD OF GOD PERFECTION-IMPERFECTION WAYS, DIVINE | ¶ As for God, his way73 is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried74: he is a buckler75 to all those that trust in him. |
Ps 18:31 SECURITY-INSECURITY | 76For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God? |
Ps 18:32 | It is God that girdeth77 me with strength, and maketh78 my way perfect. |
Ps 18:33 | He maketh79 my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high80 places. |
Ps 18:34 | He teacheth81 my hands to war, so that82 a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. |
Ps 18:35 GENTLENESS, DIVINE PROVIDENCE DIVINE | Thou hast also given me the shield83 of thy salvation: and thy right84 hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness85 hath made me great. |
Ps 18:36 DETERIORATION-DEVELOPMENT RIGHTEOUS-WICKED | Thou hast enlarged86 my steps under me, that my feet87 did not slip. |
Ps 18:37 | 88I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed. |
Ps 18:38 | 89I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet. |
Ps 18:39 | For thou hast girded90 me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued91 under me those that93 rose up against me. |
Ps 18:40 | ¶ Thou hast also given me the necks94 of mine enemies; that95 I might destroy them that hate me. |
Ps 18:41 | 96They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not. |
Ps 18:42 CANAAN, LAND OF | Then did I beat97 them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast98 them out as the dirt in the streets. |
Ps 18:43 | Thou hast delivered me from99 the strivings of the people; and thou hast made100 me the head of the heathen: a people101 whom I have not known shall serve me. |
Ps 18:44 | As soon102 as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers103 shall submit104 themselves unto me. |
Ps 18:45 | The strangers105 shall fade away, and be afraid106 out of their close places. |
Ps 18:46 | The LORD107 liveth; and blessed108 be my rock; and let the God109 of my salvation be exalted110. |
Ps 18:47 | It is God that avengeth111 me, and subdueth112 the people under me. |
Ps 18:48 ENEMIES | He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest113 me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man114. |
Ps 18:49 | Therefore will I give thanks115 unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing116 praises unto thy name. |
Ps 18:50 | ¶ Great117 deliverance giveth he to his118 king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore. |
