Isa 12:1 A joyful thanksgiving of the faithful for the mercies of God. Isa 12:1 •COMFORT-MISERY •GRATITUDE-INGRATITUDE ¶ And in that1 day thou shalt say, O LORD2, I will praise thee: though3 thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Isa 12:2 •COURAGE-FEAR •FAITH-UNBELIEF •FAITH-UNBELIEF •SALVATION-CONDEMNATION Behold, God4 is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD5 JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Isa 12:3 •DESIRE-SATISFACTION •JOY-SORROW •WATER OF LIFE Therefore with joy6 shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. Isa 12:4 •EXALTATION-ABASEMENT •TESTIMONY, RELIGIOUS ¶ And in that day7 shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name8, declare9 his doings among the people, make mention that his name10 is exalted. Isa 12:5 •EXCELLENCIES, DIVINE Sing11 unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known12 in all the earth. Isa 12:6 •GREATNESS •JOY-SORROW Zion Cry out13 and shout, thou14 inhabitant15 of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
