scheduler question

If I were to make almost all the verbs on my MOO owned by #2 and do a
set_task_perms, would I lose performance?  Would the scheduler be unhappy?
How does the scheduler work anyway?  Is there any documentation?

p.s. If you're curious... the reason I want to do this is with in-db parsing,
your 'script' 'compiles' to a MOO verb.  I want to make sure you can't hack
that verb, but have it still run with your permissions.
