My God Cannot Do Me Wrong R. J. Brown, 1984 (1) My God cannot do me wrong; He saved my soul. He rescued me from the throng, And made me whole. When I am helpless And so all alone, Jesus reminds me I'm His. When I can't see Him I still know He's there. He's in control; yes, He is! (2) My Jesus is all in all; He died for me. Adam had paradise before the fall; It's mine for free. He came to earth as a Defenseless child. Of Adam's blood He was free, And when that sword through His Side it was plunged, His blood paid the price for me. (3) I'll live for Him day by day, Follow the Word. He'll return to take me away, Fly like a bird. When He parts the clouds In the eastern sky, The trump will sound; all will see! Saints' graves will open; They shall rise up first, Followed by you and by me. (4) And One stood upon the throne, None beside Him. My Jesus rules all alone. His light won't dim. And He that sat upon The throne then said, "Behold, I make all things new." Repent, be baptized in His precious name; Remission of sins is for you. (5) The Holy Ghost will fill you up: You'll overflow. You'll speak to Him in unknown tongues, Then you will know.
