Re 6:1 SIN-SAVIOUR | ¶ And I saw when1 the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise2 of thunder, one3 of the four beasts saying, Come and see. |
Re 6:2 BATTLE OF LIFE BOWS WHITE | And I saw, and behold a white4 horse: and he that5 sat on him had a bow; and a6 crown was given unto him: and he went7 forth conquering, and to conquer. |
Re 6:3 | ¶8And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. |
Re 6:4 WAR-PEACE | And there went out another horse9 that was red: and power10 was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there11 was given unto him a great sword. |
Re 6:5 BALANCES, DIVINE | And when he had12 opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black13 horse; and he that sat on him had14 a pair of balances in his hand. |
Re 6:6 ABUNDANCE-WANT AGRICULTURE-HORTICULTURE | And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure15 of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see16 thou hurt not the oil and the wine. |
Re 6:7 | 17And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. |
Re 6:8 HELL | And I looked, and behold a pale18 horse: and his name that sat on him was Death19, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them20 over the fourth part of the earth, to kill21 with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. |
Re 6:9 SUFFERING FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE SUFFERING FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE | ¶ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw22 under the altar the souls23 of them that were slain24 for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: |
Re 6:10 | ¶ And they cried25 with a loud voice, saying, How26 long, O Lord, holy27 and true, dost28 thou not judge and avenge29 our blood on them that dwell on the earth? |
Re 6:11 FUTURE, THE | And white30 robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they31 should rest yet for a little season, until32 their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. |
Re 6:12 LIGHT-DARKNESS | And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there33 was a great earthquake; and the sun34 became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; |
Re 6:13 TREES | And the stars35 of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs36, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. |
Re 6:14 HEAVENS, THE NATURAL | And the heaven37 departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every38 mountain and island were moved out of their places. |
Re 6:15 | And the kings39 of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid40 themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; |
Re 6:16 COURAGE-FEAR | And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall41 on us, and hide us from the face42 of him that sitteth on the throne, and from43 the wrath of the Lamb: |
Re 6:17 DAY OF THE LORD SELF-JUSTIFICATION-SELF-CONDEMNATION | For the great44 day of his wrath is come; and who45 shall be able to stand? |
