1Th 4:5 CHASTITY-IMPURITY PASSIONS, EVIL | Not in the14 lust of concupiscence, even as the15 Gentiles which know16 not God: |
1Th 4:6 | to live holily and justly; |
1Th 4:6 | That no man go17 beyond and defraud18 his brother in any matter19: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we20 also have forewarned you and testified. |

1Th 4:8 RECEPTION-REJECTION OF GOD AND TRUTH | He therefore that despiseth23, despiseth not24 man, but God, who25 hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. |

1Th 4:10 DETERIORATION-DEVELOPMENT Macedonia | ¶ And indeed ye do it toward all the29 brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye30 increase more and more; |
1Th 4:11 | and quietly to follow their own business; |
1Th 4:11 BUSINESS LIFE QUIETNESS-TUMULT | And that31 ye study32 to be quiet, and to do33 your own business, and to work34 with your own hands, as we commanded you; |
1Th 4:12 CONSISTENT LIFE | That ye may walk35 honestly toward them36 that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing37. |
1Th 4:13 | and last of all, to sorrow moderately for the dead. |
1Th 4:13 COMFORT-MISERY HOPE-DESPAIR LIFE-DEATH MORTALITY-IMMORTALITY | ¶ But I would38 not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are39 asleep, that ye sorrow40 not, even as others which have41 no hope. |
1Th 4:14 MORTALITY-IMMORTALITY | For if we42 believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep43 in Jesus will God44 bring with him. |
1Th 4:15 | For this we say unto you by the45 word of the Lord, that we which are46 alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent47 them which are asleep48. |
1Th 4:16 ARCHANGEL FUTURE, THE MORTALITY-IMMORTALITY | For the Lord49 himself shall descend from heaven with a50 shout, with the voice of the archangel51, and with the trump52 of God: and the53 dead in Christ shall rise first: |
1Th 4:17 | And unto this last exhortation is annexed a brief description of the resurrection, and second coming of Christ to judgment. |
1Th 4:17 AIR FUTURE, THE MORTALITY-IMMORTALITY | Then we which54 are alive and remain shall be caught55 up together with them in the56 clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so57 shall we ever be with the Lord. |
