Job 23:2 CONTENT-DISCONTENT | Even to day is my complaint1 bitter: my stroke2 is heavier than my groaning. |
Job 23:3 SEARCH FOR GOD | Oh that3 I knew where4 I might find him! that I might5 come even to his seat! |
Job 23:4 | I would order6 my cause before him, and fill my mouth7 with arguments. |
Job 23:5 | I would know8 the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me. |
Job 23:6 | in confidence of his mercy. |
Job 23:6 | Will he plead9 against me with his great power? No; but he would10 put strength in me. |
Job 23:7 | There11 the righteous might dispute with him; so should12 I be delivered for ever from my judge. |

Job 23:10 BLESSINGS-AFFLICTIONS BLESSINGS-AFFLICTIONS | ¶ But he knoweth15 the way that I take16: when he hath tried me, I shall17 come forth as gold. |

Job 23:11 STEADFASTNESS-INSTABILITY | My foot18 hath held his steps, his way19 have I kept, and not declined. |
Job 23:12 BIBLE, THE; THE WORD OF GOD | Neither20 have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed21 the words of his mouth more than my necessary food22. |
Job 23:13 | God's decree is immutable. |
Job 23:13 | ¶ But he is in one mind, and who can23 turn him? and what24 his soul desireth, even that he doeth. |
Job 23:14 | For he performeth the thing that is appointed25 for me: and many such26 things are with him. |
Job 23:15 PRESENCE, DIVINE | 27Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him. |
Job 23:16 | For God28 maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty29 troubleth me: |
Job 23:17 | Because I was not cut off30 before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from31 my face. |
