Job 13:6 | 10Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips. |
Job 13:7 | 11Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him? |
Job 13:8 | 12Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God? |
Job 13:9 | Is it good that he should search13 you out? or as one14 man mocketh another, do ye so mock him? |
Job 13:10 JUSTICE-INJUSTICE | ¶ He will surely reprove15 you, if ye do secretly accept persons. |
Job 13:11 | Shall16 not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread17 fall upon you? |
Job 13:12 | Your remembrances18 are like unto ashes19, your bodies to bodies20 of clay. |
Job 13:13 SILENCE-SPEECH | ¶ Hold your peace21, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come22 on me what will. |
Job 13:14 | He professes his confidence in God; and entreats to know his own sins, and God's purpose in afflicting him. |
Job 13:14 | Wherefore do I take23 my flesh in my teeth, and put24 my life in mine hand? |
Job 13:15 FAITH-UNBELIEF | Though he slay me,25 yet will I trust in him: but I will26 maintain27 mine own ways before him. |
Job 13:16 | He also shall be my salvation28: for an hypocrite29 shall not come before him. |
Job 13:17 | 30Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears. |
Job 13:18 | Behold now, I have ordered31 my cause; I know32 that I shall be justified. |

Job 13:25 | Wilt thou break44 a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble? |
Job 13:26 YOUNG PEOPLE | For thou writest45 bitter things against me, and makest46 me to possess the iniquities of my youth. |
Job 13:27 LIBERTY-BONDAGE LIMITATIONS, HUMAN | Thou puttest47 my feet also in the stocks, and lookest48 narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest49 a print upon the heels50 of my feet. |
