Jer 15:1 ISRAEL-THE JEWS SAMUEL | ¶ Then said the LORD unto me, Though1 Moses2 and Samuel stood3 before me, yet my mind4 could not be toward this people: cast5 them out of my sight, and let them go forth. |
Jer 15:2 | And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death6, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity. |
Jer 15:3 | And I will7 appoint over them four kinds8, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy. |
Jer 15:4 Jerusalem | And I will cause them to be removed9 into all kingdoms of the earth, because10 of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem. |
Jer 15:5 Jerusalem | For who11 shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask how thou doest12? |
Jer 15:6 FAITHFULNESS-UNFAITHFULNESS | Thou hast forsaken13 me, saith the LORD, thou art14 gone backward: therefore will I stretch15 out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am16 weary with repenting. |
Jer 15:7 | And I will fan17 them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave18 them of children,19 I will destroy my people, since20 they return not from their ways. |
Jer 15:8 SECURITY-INSECURITY | Their widows21 are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother22 of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city. |
Jer 15:9 | She that hath23 borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun24 is gone down while it was yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the25 residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD. |

Jer 15:10 CHEERFULNESS-DESPONDENCY | ¶ Woe is me, my26 mother, that thou hast borne me a man27 of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have28 neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse29 me. |
Jer 15:11 | The LORD said, Verily it30 shall be well with thy remnant; verily I31 will cause the enemy to entreat thee32 well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction. |

Jer 15:13 | Thy substance34 and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without35 price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders. |
Jer 15:14 | And I will make thee to pass36 with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire37 is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you. |

Jer 15:16 BIBLE, THE; THE WORD OF GOD BIBLE, THE; THE WORD OF GOD JOY-SORROW | Thy words were found, and I did42 eat them; and thy word43 was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name44, O LORD God of hosts. |
Jer 15:17 | I sat not45 in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone46 because of thy hand: for47 thou hast filled me with indignation. |
Jer 15:18 | Why is my pain48 perpetual, and my wound49 incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a50 liar, and as51 waters that fail52? |

Jer 15:19 ASSOCIATION-SEPARATION | Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return53, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand54 before me: and if thou take55 forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my56 mouth: let them57 return unto thee; but return not thou unto them. |
Jer 15:20 | ¶ And I will58 make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but59 they shall not prevail against thee: for60 I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD. |
Jer 15:21 | And I will deliver61 thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible62. |
