Isa 6:1 | Isaiah, in a vision of the Lord in his glory, |
Isa 6:1 BLINDNESS-VISION ISAIAH OR ESAIAS UZZIAH, OR AZARIAH | ¶ In the year1 that king Uzziah died I saw also3 the Lord sitting4 upon a throne, high5 and lifted up, and his train6 filled the temple. |
Isa 6:2 SERAPHIM | Above it stood7 the seraphims8: each one had six wings9; with twain he covered his face10, and with twain he covered his feet11, and with twain he did fly12. |
Isa 6:3 EARTH GLORIFYING GOD HOLINESS | And one cried unto another,13 and said, Holy14, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth15 is full of his glory. |
Isa 6:4 | And the posts16 of the door17 moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. |
Isa 6:5 | being terrified, has apprehensions removed. |
Isa 6:5 LEADERS, RELIGIOUS SEEING GOD | ¶ Then said I,18 Woe is me! for I am undone19; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell20 in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes21 have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. |
Isa 6:6 SERAPHIM | Then flew22 one of the seraphims unto me, having23 a live coal in his hand, which24 he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: |
Isa 6:7 DEFILEMENT-CLEANSING | And he laid it upon25 my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity26 is taken away, and thy sin purged. |
Isa 6:8 | He offers himself, and is sent to shew the obstinacy of the people unto their desolation. |
Isa 6:8 INVITATIONS-WARNINGS SURRENDERED LIFE, THE | Also I heard27 the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom28 shall I send, and who will go for us?29 Then30 said I, Here am I;31 send me. |
Isa 6:9 | ¶ And he said, Go32, and tell this people, Hear ye33 indeed34, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. |
Isa 6:10 BLINDNESS-VISION DEAFNESS-HEARING | ¶ Make the heart35 of this people fat36, and make their ears heavy37, and shut their eyes; lest38 they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert39, and be healed. |
Isa 6:11 | Then said I, Lord40, how long? And he answered, Until the41 cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate42, |
Isa 6:12 | And the LORD43 have removed men far away, and there be a great44 forsaking in the midst of the land. |
Isa 6:13 | A remnant shall be saved. |
Isa 6:13 TREES TREES | But yet45 in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return46, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance47 is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy48 seed shall be the substance thereof. |
