Ge 28:1 BLESSINGS-AFFLICTIONS ISAAC JACOB MARRIAGE | ¶ And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed1 him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt2 not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan. |
Ge 28:2 Paddan-aram | Arise3, go to Padanaram4, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban5 thy mother's brother. |
Ge 28:3 | And God6 Almighty bless thee, and make7 thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude8 of people; |
Ge 28:4 | And give thee the blessing9 of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger10, which11 God gave unto Abraham. |
Ge 28:5 Paddan-aram | And Isaac sent away Jacob12: and he went to Padanaram13 unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother. |
Ge 28:6 | Esau marries Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael. |
Ge 28:6 Paddan-aram | ¶ When Esau14 saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou15 shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan; |

Ge 28:12 DREAMS LADDER, JACOB'S | And he dreamed25, and behold a ladder26 set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. |
Ge 28:13 | And, behold, the LORD stood27 above it, and said, I am28 the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land29 whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; |
Ge 28:14 | And thy seed30 shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad31 to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee32 and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. |
Ge 28:15 FELLOWSHIP-ESTRANGEMENT PROVIDENCE DIVINE | And, behold, I am33 with thee, and will keep34 thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring35 thee again into this land; for I36 will not leave thee, until37 I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. |
Ge 28:16 DEVOTIONAL LIFE | ¶ And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I38 knew it not. |
Ge 28:17 DEVOTIONAL LIFE | And he was39 afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house40 of God, and this is the gate of heaven. |

Ge 28:21 JACOB JEHOVAH CHOSEN, AS GOD | So that I come50 again to my father's house in peace; then51 shall the LORD be my God: |
Ge 28:22 LIBERALITY-PARSIMONY-COVETOUSNESS | And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's52 house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will53 surely give the tenth unto thee. |
