Ge 25:1 ABRAHAM OR ABRAM | ¶ Then1 again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah. |
Ge 25:2 MIDIAN | And she bare2 him Zimran3, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian4, and Ishbak, and Shuah5. |
Ge 25:3 | And Jokshan begat Sheba6, and Dedan7. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim8, and Letushim, and Leummim. |
Ge 25:4 | And the sons of Midian; Ephah9, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah. |
Ge 25:5 | The division of his goods. |
Ge 25:5 HEIRS | And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac10. |
Ge 25:6 | But unto the sons of the concubines11, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts12, and sent13 them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country14. |
Ge 25:7 | His age, death, and burial. |
Ge 25:7 LONG LIFE | And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life15 which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years. |
Ge 25:8 ABRAHAM OR ABRAM | Then Abraham gave16 up the ghost, and died in a good17 old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered18 to his people. |
Ge 25:9 ISHMAEL MACHPELAH Machpelah Mamre | And his sons Isaac19 and Ishmael buried him in the cave20 of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre; |
Ge 25:10 | ¶ The field21 which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there22 was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife. |

Ge 25:11 WELLS, NATURAL Beer-lahai-roi | ¶ And it came to pass after23 the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi24. |

Ge 25:12 ISHMAEL ISHMAEL | 25Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham: |
Ge 25:13 ARABIANS | And these are the names26 of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth27; and Kedar28, and Adbeel, and Mibsam, |

Ge 25:15 | Hadar30, and Tema31, Jetur, Naphish32, and Kedemah: |
Ge 25:16 | These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles33; twelve34 princes according to their nations. |

Ge 25:17 | And these are35 the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered36 unto his people. |

Ge 25:19 | ¶ And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham42 begat Isaac: |
Ge 25:20 REBEKAH OR REBECCA Paddan-aram | ¶ And Isaac was forty years old when he43 took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian44 of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian. |
Ge 25:21 CONCEPTION | And Isaac intreated45 the LORD for his wife, because46 she was barren: and the47 LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah48 his wife conceived. |
Ge 25:22 | The children strive in her womb. |
Ge 25:22 GUIDANCE | And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire49 of the LORD. |
Ge 25:23 LIBERTY-BONDAGE SUPREMACY, GRANTED TO CERTAIN MEN | And the LORD said unto her, Two nations50 are in thy womb, and two manner51 of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder52 shall serve the younger. |

Ge 25:24 TWINS | And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. |
Ge 25:25 ESAU | And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau53. |
Ge 25:26 JACOB | And after54 that came his brother out, and his hand took55 hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob56: and Isaac was57 threescore years old when she bare them. |

Ge 25:27 ESAU GUIDANCE HUNTERS | And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning58 hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man59, dwelling60 in tents. |
Ge 25:28 HOME VENISON | And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison61: but Rebekah62 loved Jacob. |

Ge 25:29 HOME POTTAGE TEMPTATION | ¶ And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he63 was faint: |
Ge 25:30 TEMPTATION | ¶ And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage;64 for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom65. |
Ge 25:31 HOME JACOB | And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. |
Ge 25:32 CONCEALMENT-EXPOSURE ESAU | And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die66: and what profit shall this birthright67 do to me? |
Ge 25:33 CONCEALMENT-EXPOSURE ESAU OATHS TEMPTATION YOUNG PEOPLE | And Jacob said, Swear68 to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold69 his birthright unto Jacob. |
Ge 25:34 ESAU ESAU JACOB LENTILS YOUNG PEOPLE | Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat70 and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau71 despised his birthright. |
