GCC for Z8000

Does anybody know if there is/was a port of GCC for the Zilog Z8000? I find
refreences to it in the GAS/GDB stuff in DJGPP, gut not in the GCC stuff.
I'd realy like to have a cross compiler to run on my PC, and generate code
for a Z8000.
