Are you tired of dead, dry religion ?
God never meant for people to think of church as a dry and boring ritual for
you to endure because you have to, but as a lively, joyful, and power filled
life changing experience where you grow in a relationship with a living God
that loves you.
Sadly there are many churches that might have sincere people, but somehow
they have overlooked or ignored some of the truths in the Bible and are missing out on
all of what God has for them, the joy and power that comes from the
experience of being filled with the Spirit of God and knowing God in
spirit and in truth.
The Bible says that there will be some who have the appearance of being
about God, but they reject or ignore the power that makes it real.
"Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away" II Tim. 3:5
God meant for the church to be a living, powerful, joyful experience -
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" Acts 1:8
"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost" Rom. 14:17
"For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost..." I Thess. 1:5
Now yes, God does have some specific things in His Word He expects us to obey,
but when you are filled with His Spirit it is a joy to obey His Word because
you love God and want to please Him, so the doctrine in the Bible is very
important, but we need to have both the Spirit and the Word for it to be
a powerful, lively, and joyful experience !
