Here is a free program I found that will check your computer to
see if the BIOS is Y2K complient, it is called 2000.exe and one
location I did a search and found it at is:

Free Y2K patch downloads for Windows and links to

(also check the link for virus and hoaxes, Microsoft says that
simply chaning the date format does not make your system Y2K
