We do not have a spirit of fear, but of love and a sound mind. We're getting
ready for Y2K the best way we know how...by having a Prophecy/Holy Ghost
Crusade in the Astroarena here in Houston. We will probably have several
thousand people attending, and are expecting a tremendous outpouring of God's
Spirit. There has been a lot of preparation for this event, with much fasting
and prayer. We've had several confirmations in the Spirit that God is going
to move in a wonderful way. At the stroke of midnight, we will be counting
the souls that will be added to the kingdom. Please pray for this meeting,
for we know that prayer is the key to revival.
Just a little testimony from a friend of mine who is very involved in this
event. We held a prayer caravan around the entire city of Houston, with many
people involved, interceding for the city. My friend had been conducting
caravans on a smaller scale the previous week. While he and a friend were
praying and circling the city, God impressed him to go around seven times. It
was raining that night, and as he was going into his final round, it started
raining very heavy. He was not able to see ten feet in front of him. He
became frightened, and began praying more intense. He then picked up his cell
phone and called a sister in our church, a prayer warrior. He told her "Sis.
Alice, I need you to pray for me right now." She was weeping and told him she
had already been in intercession for him. At that moment, there was a break
in the clouds, as if God had covered their vehicle, and everywhere around
them it continued to rain. As they finished their loop around the city, the
rain began to end, and my friend and his companion saw a rainbow that started
from the hood of his car! He looked at his friend and said,"Did you just see
that?" His friend couldn't believe it either. This is just one example of
events that have occured that have us excited about what God is going to do!
Please pray for the harvest, for it is indeed ripe.
