Lineage of Jesus

Nevertheless... even though Joseph wasn't the *father* of Jesus he's 
still considered in the lineage of David.  

As I understand, the lineage through Joseph was of the tribe of Judah
(hence he's called the lion of the tribe of Judah) and Mary's lineage
is of the Levites...  I don't know how true it is... but this is what
I've heard.

So... Jesus's human lineage is of both the lineage of Kings (Judah)
and the lineage of priests (Levi).
