One bit of caution; AT&T said, they are completely ready for Y2K. The
only possible problem (with them and computer servers, as well) is if at
12:01AM everybody picks up their phone to see if there is a dial tone.
They are not set up for that kind of volume, and it would, in fact,
cause their system to go down. Of course, this will cause those who are
certain that the world will end on Jan.1 to feel very justified.
There may be some minor problems, but I think the biggies will be
"self-inflicted".
