Welllllll...... doesn't "manifest" mean "made known"? If that's the case,
then it's at a different time to different people. It's a matter of revelation.

For Joseph & Mary, it was *revealed* (or made manifest to them) at the time
of conception.

For Mary's cousin Elisabeth, it was while Elisabeth was 6 months pregnant.

For the sheppards on the hills, it was when Jesus was born as the angels
proclaimed the birth.

For the wise men, it was when Jesus was two years old or so when they were
able to locate Jesus and his parents when they brought gifts of Gold,
Frankensince, and Myrrh.

The Dr's and Lawyers, when Jesus was 12 in the temple, when Jesus was
disputing with them about matters of the law were probably highly
suspicious ... but their eyes probably remained closed... nothing revealed.

Maybe everybody around when seeing Jesus baptized in the Jordan (I'm
personally not convinced that this occurance was not just a personal
event for John the baptist by which he only saw/experienced and not
anyone else) when the heavens opened up and the Holy Ghost like a
Dove lit upon Jesus and a voice said... "This is my Son in whom I
am well pleased".

Peter when asked by Jesus *who do you say that I am*....

The woman at the well ... knew he was the Messiah.

To those around the cross as the sun couldn't even look upon the Son
haninging on the cross.... as the skies were darkened for the last
several hours of Jesus natural life.

etc.

etc.

etc.

I think that there's plenty of opportunity for God to reveal himself in
the Son. It happened back then... it happens now.
