Luke
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon
thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: THEREFORE also
that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her
old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
37 FOR NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD.
Bro. Fretwell,
This is true MY God is a very, very Holy God and is a Spirit. He himself
over shadowed Mary and that child was the " Mighty God" himself in the
flesh. Just as John the Baptizer had the Holy Ghost from his mother's wome
so Jesus had the Holy Ghost From his conception.
That is why Luke said "therefore also" in Luke 1:35-37. Therefore was
refering to the previous statment. It went on to say the child would be
called the son of God. ..."For that which is impossible with man is possible
with God". A being being born of a woman who is still a virgin!! How can
this be? Because the same God that breathed into all mankind the breath of
life and made us living souls has come as a man. Immanual - God with us. God
is a Holy Spirit.
