Heh, heh.... weeeeellllllll. I think this is a true statement. From when
we are small and in school while we grow up through the *system* ... people
aren't often taught how to critically *think* for themselves. People are
taught how to react in a group situation and taught how to flow with the
pack for the most part. Even within the apostolic ranks... people are loyal
to their particular *pack* that they associate. Regardless to the level of
truth anybody has, they'll fight the doctrines of the group *more* than seek
out what the bible has to say and work their own salvation out with fear and
trembling. Often it's said... "If it's good enough for my pastor... it's
good enough for me."

Yeah... just how much baggage can be added to the salvational message to
transmogrify *truth* into *mostly truth* and/or *partial truth*. I think
it's the traditions of man (regardless of the denominal faith, apostolic
organization, independentness, etc.) that dilute truth. Though a lot of
things are preached from the pulpit that are good for us that are considered
"holiness standards" (which is a kind of yardstick by which people use to
measure someone's salvation when someone *sizes* up someone elses walk with
God) how much of that can be successfully added as a prerequisite of
fellowship (and supposedly salvation) to make the baggage added to the
*truth* too heavy to carry. What then happens, if the "burden" placed on
the saints isn't the same as God would have placed ... then the good
intentions of the pastor/minister is *outside* of what God would require.

Re 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of
the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto
these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that
          are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book
of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the
book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things
which are written in this book.

... which, I think, that many pastors/ministers at judgement time will
be left on the outside because the traditions that they teach and hand
down (which are certainly well intentioned) openly dilute that which is
in the book.

I think it all comes down to someone abiding in the leading of the Holy
Ghost. The Holy Ghost will lead us and guide us into all truth. If the
Holy Ghost guides us *outside* of that which our ministers/pastors would
have, and we reject it, then we are no longer abiding in truth. We, as
apostolics, are not guarunteed that our pastors/ministers are 100% on
track.
