And the Bible does say to work out your own salvation with fear and
trembling.  How any of the people in this discussion have indeed
obeyed the Bible in this respect as it pertains to this topic?  Many
are likely to let some pastor work it out for them and unquestioningly
take his solution as the truth.  

Although I disagree with Bro. Fretwell on this point, I will not argue
it with him, as I do feel that he has at least worked it out for
himself with the fear and trembling expected when attempting to
discern the things of God.  Most of the other participants in this
discussion are most likely taking a doctrinal position and calling it
truth.  Doctrine is good, but only when it is the doctrine of God, and
not just the doctrine of men.

Now the really important question is whether this is a salvation
issue: can one be wrong about this topic and still be saved?  If so,
then we had all better be fearing and trembling; if not, then it is
not worth getting all worked up over anyway.
