Greetings in Jesus Name,

Bro. Fretwell, (Fretwell@aol.com) in one post wrote:

> I can not see that Jesus was God in the manger of Bethlehem.

In another explanation post, he wrote:

>I realize this sounds "fetched from afar", as the Bible says.
>But, please don't throw it all overboard-- yet. Lash it to
>the deck, and let it ride a while. See what God will do with it.

>The greatest service I can do you-- is to cause you to THINK.

Floyd replies:
First let me say that I have great respect for Bro. Fretwell, and his search for
the truth.

I don't guess that in my more than 40 years around Oneness, that I have ever
heard or considered this statement. I have lashed it to my deck, but it is
eating a hole in it.

Please allow me one question.

If Jesus was the "Son of God" in the manger and "God the Father was in Heaven",
haven't we proved a trinity, at least at a point in time? If Jesus was not the
Father in the manger, then it was not a Oneness.

So I'll worship only at the feet of Jesus. His cup alone-my Holy
Grail.
There'll be no other gods before Him. Just Jesus only will never fail.
