Hi All !
Just wanted to share some info that might be needful to those who use
Windows 95 or Windows 98, it seems that those operating systems
might need an upgrade patch to be Y2K complient, there is a toll-free
number to call Microsoft for a free Windows 95 Y2K upgrade CD, it is
1-888-673-8925
also, below is links to sites for free downloads of programs to help
with Y2K compatibility, the first is for a program that will check the
computer itself (hardware) for Y2K compatibility, the other 2 links
are for Windows 95 and 98 downloads to make those operating systems
Y2K compatible, - but remember, if you have a lot of various software
programs on your computer, there is a possibility that some of them
may not be Y2K complient, if the software doesn't have contact info
to ask the company if it is or not, then try doing a search on the
web to find out.
