So what are we supposed to do, ignore the fact that there is a devil?
I was once an athiest myself, 22 years ago.  Is there no hope for the
satanist?  If we can't talk about their "god", then we can't really
expect them to listen to us talk about our God.  

Denying the existence of satan by refusing to discuss the subject at
all is a good way to get people to believe that he does not exist at
all.  This is exactly the situation C. S. Lewis describes in "The
Shrewtape Letters" when he relates the story of an old experienced
demon telling a young apprentice demon that the best thing to happen
would be for men to not believe there even was a devil; then they
would be able to operate with impunity!
