Bro Tyler, I appreciate your patience and persistence in this topic. I will
make just a couple more comments. On your first point regarding Cain, and his
not doing the right thing: Was *this* therefore the reason God did not
clearly spell out N.T. doctrine? Because He knew man wouldn't obey anyway?
For example, the 10 commandments were very clear as to "what to do". Why
didn't He just make the "10 commandments of salvation"? Your point on "God
wants us to make a choice for Him or not", and "God is not a bully, and will
not force anybody to believe": right, He will not, however, all "sincere"
believers think they *are* doing what is right and following God. Each thinks
they have the truth and are following it. They all can't be right, and each
are interpreting the Word as they believe is correct. The interpretations
vary and that is my *main* point. The fact that the N.T. doctrines are ABLE
to be interpretreted at all is what I was questioning. For some reason, God
has allowed there to be room for interpretation. Doctrinal divisions begin
when believers start talking "works", and what is *takes* to be saved. It is
when we leave the Cross, that divisions begin. Paul said, "For I determined
not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." Dede
