I think that it is written clearly.
I also think that peoples interpretation of what's contained in the Word is
somewhat dependent on their own respective environment (locale, faith, politics,
etc.) as well.
You'll get one interpretation from a catholic, another one from a lutheran,
another one from a regular baptist, another from a southern baptist, another
from apostolics, another from jewish believers, etc, etc, etc. In each
environment, there's a driving *way* to interpret what the Word says.
Primarily the same word in each, but the environments of each dictate the
method by which the Word is understood/interpreted. There's a level of
politics that is played between the minister of the word an the sanctioning
organization, or the organization and it's superintendents, presbyters, and
ministerial alliance. The politics of the organization can well determine
how the word is interpreted as well as what is to be preached on.
Basically, God's clarity is *muddled* by the mans *ways*.
