Funnel Cake
1-1/3 c. flour
1/4 t. salt
1/2 t. soda
2 T. sugar
3/4 t. baking powder
1 egg beaten
2/3 c. milk (or more if batter is too thick)
Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Mix egg and milk together and add
dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Hold finger over bottom of a funnel.
Pour in some batter; remove finger and let batter drop in a spiral motion
into a pan of hot oil (375). Fry until golden brown, turning once. Drain
on paper towel. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm.

I have not tried this recipe myself, but should be good I think.
Sorry for not getting this out sooner, I just knew I would have to dig in
my own recipe archives which has a tendency to lean toward disaster. I
love recipes of all types, mostly ones that save a buck!
