Dear Bro. Hall,

I am not trying to detract from the importance of invoking the name of the Lord
Jesus, and I emphatically believe that it is God's word that makes the
difference.

My contention with WoF doctrine is its insistence that our own words make the
difference, for our good or evil. That suggests, and I hate to be redundant,
that we possess a the same powers of Providence that God possesses which I
reject.

I do believe in the all-importance and omnipower of the invoked name of the
Lord Jesus in both baptism and prayer, but I refuse to believe that positive
confession is the Biblical notion of faith.

All Honour to Christ Jesus.
