Well I am interested in knowing what opinion there remains of the few
remaining members on the list to this yet another long list.
We DO see in the Bible that confession is a scriptural fact. we saw some
definate abuses of the gifts of the Spirit and some real wildfire in the
last 2 "movements". Now we see this new revelation of joy and prosperity.
Not a bad idea to be happy and wealthy, but even Ben Franklin said it is
hard to have both.
On the other hand, we are also now afraid of this postitive confession of
our faith that we almost steer away from "Faith-talk". I firmly believe
if you were to get up every day and just say that we were expecting good
things that the simple mood you psyche yourself up with would be a great
postitive influence. Compare Phillipians 4:4-8 and see that we are to
think on GOOD reports. The fact that I am going to think good things does
not change that I still have a Pastor to answer for my soul.
So what do you think of this vein? Do we confess with our mouth or do we
remain silent? Do we abandon what most of the business world has learned
just because we are saved. 2 years ago I saw Vince Lombardi Jr speak in
Boston and he said "Sucessful people do what unsucessful people REFUSE to
do"
