From a List to a Newsgroup?

The problem with newsgroups is SPAM!  You cannot control who
subscribes to a newsgroup.  We could not prevent GET RICH QUICK
postings, or even highly obscene and blasphemous postngs.  Newsgroups
are a true public forum, and so in the USA all free speech
considerqtions apply as well.  This would be a *BIG* mistake for HF.
