Regarding the problem of searching the archives: all the major search
engines pass thru eli.wariat.org's web site periodically, but there
may be a month lag or so before this happens.  I am planning to
install the "glimpse" search engine here so we can search just the HF
archives and find something that was posted the same day.  I am
starting a new contract Monday, so I do not know how much time I will
have to devote to this, but I have been thinking about it for a long
time -- since befreo the break-in at the beginning of December.
