Dear Saints!
I come to you with a very heavy heart and a troubled mind. My dear sister
is going through one of the greatest trials a wife can
experience.........her husband is dying of lymphoma cancer. She is trying
to take care of her husband and her two children. She is not serving the
Lord and doesn't have the Holy Spirit to comfort her and to lead her.
Would you all take her upon your hearts and call her name in prayer?? Her
name is Jewel Darlene Nies...........family calls her
Darlene.......friends call her Jewel.

I have tried to contact some of the Pentecostal people who knew us when we
were children. I know that they could be a comfort to her if they would
contact her. So far, she has received one phone call and a card. The
Pentecostals we know are from Bro. Jones and Bro. Steve Williford's church
in St. Louis and Bridgeton, Missouri. I pray that the Lord would lay it
upon someones heart to contact her........she needs to know that we still
care. I feel awful when I ask her if anyone has come by to see them and
she tells me that no one has. Although she has been out of the church for
many years, she still knows how we believe in the power of prayer. Our
mother took so many people into her home and gave them love, food,
shelter, and comfort in their time of need. I pray that there will be
someone that will remember Sis. Beck's daughter, Darlene, in her time of
need.

I ask your forgiveness if I have offended you for asking for prayer when I
could have written to WNOP. I read many of your messages each day and you
have become a part of my life. This group is part of the famiy of God and
I come to my family with my need. Would you please help me pray for my
dear sister and her beloved husband and family?

Christian Love,
Sis. Elaine
