So far... I've not heard any YEAH's or NAY's fer or agin
the idea of a separate list that will regularly engage in
the deeper thoughts and writings.....  -OR- I've not heard
any suggestions for the name of a 2nd list... (if it becomes
a reality, and I have anything to do with it, I'd like for
it to end in "-FIRE" or maybe even begin with "HIGHER-"
to keep with the tradition of the first...hmmmmmmm

Welllllllllllll that's not entirely true.  I think someone
has written me telling me that if the volume of H-F is kept
down, we could have the same discussions here.

The thing I DON'T want to do is create a 2nd list and have
it be unused.  Or have it turn into a private soapbox...
Or to totally overwhelm folks on the original list with
the long and deep discussions we've been experiencing lately.
Some folks have really exercised the DELETE button in a great
