Overpricing is a product of capitalism. I own a business, and while I try to
be competitive, the market allows me so much mark-up on certain items. Paper,
I mark up at least 400%. Some items only 100%.
Does that mean I'm being unfair? No. I'm conforming to the market trend.
I sell printed items at a certain price for so many. At times, the printer
jams, or some don't come out quite right and I throw them away. So instead of
getting 200 of an item, they may get 197, but I don't lower the price.
Is that unfair? No. In the industry, there is ALWAYS allowance over/under.
