Here's another proposal: another list specifically for discussion of
"deep" issues such as prophecy (i.e. don't limit discussion to
prophecy). This would probably be configured in such a way that
messages are delivered once every day or two, or maybe even make it
once every three or four days. this would allow members to to think
about their responses for a day or two before replying (if there's a
need to reply).

I've finally installed Linux on my PC at home, and I'll probably be
setting up some sort of internet account, so I could even host this
list from home. Since distribution would be periodic, the fact that I
wouldn't be dialed up 24/7 wouldn't be a hindrance (I would probably
have a cron job dial-in during the night hours). Since I don't use my
computer for business, hogging my phone line wouldn't really be an
issue.

If I hosted the list, somebody else would need to be the "owner" as
Tyler and I are both stretched pretty thin with our time. Any
volunteers?

BTW, we're also looking for people here in Illinois who might also
be able to help out with some list administration of Higher-Fire.
Send your nominations to my and Bro Tyler via private email.

I would only pay the annual membership fee, which ain't that much.

For those who might wish to help Prairienet out, send your
tax-deductible contribution to:

The service Tyler and I have been receiving has been top-notch from the
Prairienet staff and even with the fees they propose it really is a
good deal. Tyler and I keep our eyes open for alternatives for hosting
Higher-Fire should Prairienet go away, and most of them are pretty
pricey.
