Praise Testimony

I wanted to share with you all my family's testimony.  I just couldn't
keep quiet any longer.  Here goes!

After a wonderful Wednesday night service back in December I went outside
to start up our car. I had gotten it started then it quit.  After several
tries, I thought that maybe I had flooded it.  Well, put it this way...I
hadn't.  The car had decided to finally die. My husband, who had to stay
home that night because he was very sick, came out and tried to jump
start the car.  Anyway, he couldn't make it do anything either. 

  My husband worked and worked on that car, until he finally was told by
a mechanic friend that we would need to get a new engine. By this time we
had been without a vehicle for a month.  Chris' family was such a
blessing to us during this time, taking us to all the places we needed to
go.  Anyone who has been without a car for any period of time could
understand our frustration. (We weren't worried though, as we knew that
the Lord would provide)  :-)  

  Well, about two weeks ago Chris' dad called him and told him that he
had bought him a car.  Hallelujah!!  The neat thing about this was that
Chris had previously asked his dad to just be on the look out for a
engine for old clunker.  We only had to transfer the title and it was
ours. JESUS IS A PROVIDER!!!!

  Chris had been working as a construction worker under his step-dad's
parent's business.  Last week he was told that there wasn't anymore work
to be done, due to the winter weather around here.  Previously, Chris had
put an application in at M&W, which is a farm equipment factory, located
here in Gibson City. The Church family was all praying with us that he
would be accepted.  Thank You JESUS!!!! Chris starts tomorrow morning at
5:30 AM! \0/

 JESUS has kept his hand on our family. We've learned to trust him more
and more. Being in situations like these certainly help you learn to
lean. :-)

"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever
state I am, therewith to be content." Phillipians 4:11  (Powerful words,
especially when you've learned that lesson)
