Let's depart from the generalization of interpretation, and get into some
actual thoughts about chapters from Revelation.

Please note my thoughts about the 70 weeks of Daniel 9 spoken to Timothy,
and realize that one BIG issue with Revelation is the so-called
seven-year tribulation persiod - or as some say, the 3.5 years
of tribulation and 3.5 years of wrath.  

Is there a remaining 7 years of tribulation?  Could not the 
70 weeks of Daniel have been fulfilled consecutively without a 
break in continuity with the "church age"?  

THIS issue would settle much of what we believe about Revelation.

For if the seven years have been long over....  then the only truth
of the matter can be that there is a post trib rapture.  For the whole
church age is a tribulation period.
