The CITY is 12,000 furlongs cubic.  That means, as a cube, it has
12 equal "edges".  12 X 12,000 = 144,000

12 is the spiritual number for government.  Thousands always implied
MANY.  (Ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands of
angels).  Not essentially 144,000 literally.  Maybe.  Maybe not.

The CITY (144,000 furlongs in sum of 12 edges) is the Bride.  And
the 144,000 are on ZION, where the Church is said to spiritually be located
(Heb. 12:22).
