Um... Bro Blume wrote this.  

You raise an EXCELLENT point however!  The mention of the
term "chruch" in Matthew referred to the congregation of
"Jewish" believers since the Gentiles were not admitted yet
and in the Hebrew broadens in meaning to all of the Jewish
nation.
